This is a legal agreement ("Agreement") between and among you and LiveStyle, Inc., Beatport, LLC, Beatport Europe B.V., and any other entity affiliated with LiveStyle, Inc., Beatport, LLC, Beatport International LLC and Beatsource LLC (collectively, "Beatport") stating the terms that govern your (i.e., customer, registered user, website visitor, DJ, label, brand, etc.) use of the Beatport website, including any Beatport branded website, webpage, or application (each of these websites and the services available through them are individually and collectively referred to in this Agreement as the "Website", as the context requires, including, without limitation, any mobile version. Now I have to manually sift though, delete the duplicates, and go back and click every song again one by one but this time Have the web browser set to "ask where to save file" each time so I know im getting the correct song and not a duplicate ( A duplicate song shows up with a (1) at the end, cancel that save as file dialoge and move on to the next song). ![]() Only to find out the click links sometimes will give you the incorrect song and will serve you a song you already downloaded. So here I am with some free time 2 weeks later to manually click each song one by one. Emailed them again, they told me to just use the browser interface instead. I emailed support they said they "reset" the songs. Found out their browser interface doesnt support download all at once and they dont have a PC app anymore.īorrowed a friends Mac to use beatport desktop - didnt work either, it only downloaded 1/2 the songs and threw an error for the rest. I bought over 300 songs at once (had an itch to DJ a bit). The only valuable thing Beatport have now is their music catalogue, the technology is worthless.īeatport is trash. Beatport refused to admit they had lost customer data, but they did, along with a chunk of revenue and consumer confidence. When Beatport had their prolonged service outage (December 2019?) it was painfully obvious that the whole operation is very amateur - they were running everything out of a single data centre, with no disaster recovery plan. I've reported all of these issues to Beatport, but nothing is ever done.Īny time I download multiple tracks, I check meticulously, because there will always be some tracks missing. I believe this is the same behaviour that causes tracks to randomly disappear and reappear from carts as you navigate the website. You can watch the number of available tracks randomly fluctuating up and down. Every time it requests a list of tracks from Beatport's backend, it receives slightly different results. Their so-called "Beatport Pro" software is even worse - if you ask it to download some recently purchased tracks, it will always omit some. You can only download two (?) tracks concurrently, if you try an enqueue a third download there's a chance the request just gets dropped. ![]() The web UI gives you the impression that a download is underway, but it will silently fail in the background. ![]()
